Presenting at the ArtsLink Assembly 2025: Defending Each Other, Carin Kuoni, VLC Senior Director/Chief Curator, and Elizabeth Larison, Director of the Arts & Culture Advocacy Program at the National Coalition Against Censorship, discuss the VLC and NCAC’s jointly penned Cultural Freedom Demands Collective Courage: A Nation-Wide Statement of Values and Principles for the Field Of Arts And Culture, which to date has amassed over 1,000 signatures from individuals and institutions from across the country since its release in August.
