The VLC Fellows Library is a collection of publications by each of the forty-four fellows the Vera List Center has hosted over its thirty-year history and counting. It celebrates and makes available the rigorous research and wide-ranging work of the Center’s fellows. For a full list of our fellows and our collection of materials, please visit the link below.

Inaugurated during the 2022 Forum and 30th Anniversary of the Vera List Center, the library was first installed within Labor of Love: Vera List Center for Art and Politics at 30, an exhibition at the Aronson Galleries at the Sheila C. Johnson Design Center, Parsons School of Design. The original installation featured at least one publication by each of the fellows. On the occasion of the anniversary, fellows were also invited to write a dedication to future readers—reflections and notes about a particular publication, research, and their time at the Vera List Center. Fellows who have contributed dedications are marked in the bibliography below.

The VLC has since made a commitment to continue to expand our library’s holdings to include every publication by each fellow as well as all materials printed and published by the Vera List Center. Please check back as we continue to grow our library, with an updated list of library holdings at the link above. If there is a publication by a VLC Fellow that you would like to access but do not currently see in our holdings, please feel free to reach out and let us know and we will try our best to accommodate your request.
